Ray is "living the dream" as he always reminds Neville (The Owner of The Grand Hotel). All his life Ray has been a closet Singer-Songwriter. That is until Neville "discovered" Ray singing and playing in "The Great Wanganui Buskoff". At first Ray wasn't sure if was a good idea when Neville asked if he would sing and play some background music in the Irish Bar every Friday night for a few hours, but Ray has been @ The Grand Hotel ever since and is adamant that he is "living the dream". Playing original acoustic music on guitar with Harmonica with a few covers including Neil Young. After a long hard week in his regular employment as a welder, Ray looks forward to his time @ The Grand Hotel between 6-8pm every Friday night in The Irish Bar.
